This 1975 Gibson ES-335TD in Walnut comes to us from the personal collection of guitarist Simon Kafka, who has used it extensively for both live performances and recording sessions over the years. In excellent condition and featuring a beautiful walnut finish, this instrument plays like butter. Some wear in the fingerboard’s first few frets. This one stands out as the finest 1970s ES-335 we have encountered. It currently features a Lollar El Rayo pickup in the bridge position for a tight and punchy response, though the original pickup is included in the case. The guitar comes with its original hardshell case, which is also in excellent condition.
