1951 Martin D-18
$7,700.00
This is a stunning example of a post-war D-18. It is in incredible condition.
The neck has a great, vintage feel that sits perfectly in the hand. Good low action, and plays effortlessly across the entire fretboard. It is a true "picking machine" that delivers the dry, woody punch and clear fundamental tone that defined the bluegrass sound of this era.
While the guitar is exceptionally clean, it did have the common pickguard-to-bridge B-string crack. This has been expertly addressed and stabilized, ensuring the guitar is structurally sound for the long haul.
This is a high-performance, great-playing vintage D-18. It is a responsive, powerful instrument that would make a picker very happy!
